People avoid church because they consider it boring, uninteresting, slow paced and uninspiring. But you have a wellspring of creativity within your current church, plus an overflowing richness of interesting art in the comunity around you.
God created us in His own image, and part of that image is a great desire to create, especially to create in ways that praise God and give us
pleasure while worshiping Him.
Look around you and you will see homemakers with amazing artistic gifts of decorating, cooking, quilting, financial management of their homes, involving teens, engaging and caring for children, and expressing God’s wonder through clothing and textiles. These gifts can add to the vitality of a worship community, plus contribute joy and wonder to the experience of worship. Paul reminds us that the body of God is whole through the use of many different kinds of gifts. (Romans 12:6)
